本报讯　据简单飞行网站消息，维珍航空与电动空中出租车公司Joby Aviation达成协议，计划在英国推出电动空中出租车服务。这一合作基于Joby公司与达美航空已有的合作计划，达美航空持有维珍航空49%的股份。维珍航空的目标是通过零碳排放的交通工具，提供英国城市和地区间的短途旅行。

　　维珍航空的电动空中出租车服务将从曼彻斯特机场和伦敦希思罗机场开始，逐步扩展到其他城市。乘坐Joby公司的电动空中出租车出行，将大幅缩短旅行时间。如从伦敦希思罗机场到市中心仅需 8分钟，而驾车需要约80分钟。空中出租车航线网络将覆盖伦敦主要机场及周边城市，如牛津、剑桥等。

　　Joby公司的电动飞机由6个电动机驱动，能够垂直起降，适合160公里以内的航线。该公司已进行数千次试飞，并正在与美国联邦航空管理局进行商业飞行认证测试。尽管服务成本尚未公布，但预计与高端拼车服务相当。这一合作标志着维珍航空在可持续发展和创新方面又推进了重要的一步。 （柯济）
