大众汽车公司周四表示，自 2027 年起，该公司将针对南美市场推出其 Amarok 中型皮卡的新版本，这是汽车行业企业实现生产本地化的最新例证。

　　大众汽车称，公司将投资 5.8 亿美元对位于布宜诺斯艾利斯省的帕切科工厂进行改造，该工厂自 2010 年以来一直在生产旧款的 Amarok 皮卡，改造后将用于生产新设计的车型。

　　大众汽车品牌负责人托马斯・舍费尔在一份声明中表示：“新款 Amarok 将在南美洲研发、设计和生产，专为南美市场打造。这意味着它将完美契合我们在这个市场上客户的特定需求。”

　　该汽车制造商将继续在南非的西尔弗顿与福特游骑兵（Ford Ranger）一起生产第二代 Amarok 皮卡。
