Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC) said drilling at the Dulcie Far North gold project in Western Australia resulted in the extension of gold mineralization and confirmed the firm's geological modeling, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It said that 31 of the 40 drill holes planned under the reverse circulation drilling program were completed and overall completion is expected by mid-April.
Significant intercepts included four meters at 1.44 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 123 meters as well as seven meters at 2.82 g/t grade of gold from 85 meters.
The firm also decided to cancel the originally planned diamond drilling component of the program, due to higher costs and longer lead times.
The firm is considering options to scale production, either through standalone development or toll treatment agreements.
