PANews 4月12日消息，据PRpeak报道，加拿大温哥华市长Ken Sim最近在出席活动时发表主旨演讲，他表示将继续推动温哥华成为比特币友好城市，目前他正在等待市政府工作人员的报告，以确认将数字货币融入温哥华市的金融战略和体系，包括但不限于接受比特币支付税费，以及将部分城市财政储备转换为比特币，以保持购买力并防范传统货币的波动、贬值和通胀压力。
注：Ken Sim中文名沈观健，出生于加拿大温哥华，是中国香港移民后代，于2022年11月正式就任加拿大温哥华市市长。
