U.S. Confirms New Export Curbs on Nvidia and AMD Chips -- WSJ

The U.S. government said it would require export licenses for some artificial-intelligence chips made by Nvidia and AMD.

"The Commerce Department is issuing new export licensing requirements on the NVIDIA H20, AMD MI308, and their equivalents," the department said in a statement.

It added it was "committed to acting on the President's directive to safeguard our national and economic security."
