路透北京4月19日 - 21台人形机器人与数千名选手一起参加了周六举行的北京亦庄半程马拉松赛，这是人形机器人首次参加半程马拉松。
参赛机器人来自松延动力等多家中国制造商，有各种形状和尺寸，有的身高不足1.2米，有的则高达1.8米。一家公司夸口说，它的机器人外表几乎跟真人一样，具有女性特征，还能眨眼微笑。
一些公司在赛前对机器人进行了数周的测试。北京当地官员称，由于需要工程和导航团队支持，这次比赛更像是一场赛车。
参赛机器人由人类训练员陪同，其中一些训练员必须在比赛中为机器人提供身体支持。
最终，来自北京人形机器人创新中心的天工Ultra机器人以2小时40分钟的成绩夺冠。男子组冠军用时1小时2分钟。
中国希望对机器人等前沿产业的投资能够帮助创造新的经济增长引擎。不过一些分析人士质疑，让机器人参加马拉松比赛是否是衡量其产业潜力的可靠指标。
美国俄勒冈州立大学的计算机科学、人工智能和机器人学教授费恩（Alan Fern）说，中国公司的重点是展示机器人行走、跑步、跳舞和其他敏捷动作。"总的来说，这些都是有趣的展示，但它们并没有展现出太多有用的工作或任何类型的基本智能。"
北京人形机器人创新中心的首席技术官$(CTO)$唐剑表示，他们未来的重点将是人形机器人的工业应用，让它们真正进入工厂与商业场景，最终进入家庭。(完)
