United Microelectronics (TPE:2303) posted a profit attributable to owners of NT$7.78 billion, or NT$0.62 per basic share, for the first quarter, according to a Wednesday Taiwan bourse filing.
The company did not provide comparative year-ago figures.
Operating revenue accumulated stood at NT$57.9 billion, the semiconductor manufacturer said.
