The Singaporean private bank, which has a strategy of deepening client wallet share to increase AUM, has hired a former wealth planning head at the Chinese wealth management firm.

A former private wealth planning head at Noah Holdings has joined UOB Private Bank, Citywire Asia can reveal.

Kevin Foo has joined the Singaporean private bank as its business development head, covering North Asia and the Asean markets. He reports to John Chen, head, commercial officer, who sits in the sales and strategy department for UOB Private Bank.

UOB declined to comment on the hire.
