At least one member of Congress bought the dip.

During the recent market selloff triggered by tariffs, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she bought positions in companies in a variety of industries, including technology stocks.

A new congressional trading form filed by Greene disclosed that she purchased positioned in companies on April 3 and April 4, including Apple, Amazon.com, Berkshire Hathaway, and Dell Technologies Inc., worth between $1,001 and $15,000 each.

The 50-year-old Congresswoman representing the 14th district in Georgia also purchased stakes in Caterpillar, FedEx, Impinj, JPMorgan Chase, Lam Research, Lululemon Athletica, Nike, Old Dominion Freight Lines, Qualcomm, Restoration Hardware, Southern and United Parcel Service Inc. The value of these stakes were also between $1,001 and $15,000 and occurred during the market sell-off of April 3 and April 4.

Congresswoman Green is one of the more active legislators when it comes to buying stocks. She disclosed several purchases during last month's market sell-off and made purchases in December 2024 and January 2025, a week after President Trump's inauguration.
