Shangri-La Asia's (SGX:S07, HKG:0069) attributable profit fell 28% to $94.5 million in the first half from $131.4 million in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the hotel operator decreased 28% to $0.02646 from $0.03676 in the previous year.
Revenue grew 4.3% to $1.05 billion from $1.01 billion a year earlier.
The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.05 per share, payable Oct. 8 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 26.
