Proto Labs (PRLB) said Monday it has expanded its 3D printing by introducing Axtra3D Hybrid PhotoSynthesis technology.
The technology uses a precision laser and digital light processing system to produce highly detailed 3D printed parts at faster speeds, the company said.
It complements Protolabs' existing Carbon digital light synthesis printers and aligns with the company's goals to expand into production use cases, the company said.
