China's medical products administrator granted Beijing Bohui Innovation Biotechnology Group (SHE:300318) medical device registration approval for its respiratory pathogen six-fold nucleic acid detection kit, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The kit is used to detect respiratory pathogens from human throat swab samples and is indicated for diagnosis of influenza A, influenza B, respiratory syncytial virus, mycoplasma pneumonia, and Bordetella pertussis or whopping cough, the filing said.
