West Cobar Metals Advances Exploration Activities at Mineral Projects; Shares Rise 7%
West Cobar Metals (ASX:WC1) advanced exploration activities at the Bulla Park antimony project in New South Wales and the Salazar critical mineral and Fraser Range copper and gold projects in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Diamond drilling at Bulla Park identified a copper and antimony feeder zone with results anticipated by mid-September, while Salazar's mineral resource estimate is set for release within the month, the filing added.
The mining firm is progressing with a drill program at Fraser Range and has filed an application with the Western Australian government's exploration incentive scheme, the filing stated.
Further, West Cobar Minerals relinquished several non-core projects located in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and Nevada, as per the filing.
Company shares rose past 7% in recent Monday trade.
