Samsung SDI Unveils Latest ESS Battery Solutions at Renewable Energy Plus 2024
Samsung SDI (KRX:006400) unveiled its advanced energy storage system (ESS) batteries at the Renewable Energy Plus 2024 in California, the South Korean electric car battery manufacturer said Monday.
These comprise the company's flagship SBB 1.5 with a 37% boost in energy density and enhanced fire safety features, it said.
Samsung SDI is also presenting high-output batteries for UPS and lithium iron phosphate batteries, emphasizing safety and sustainability in accordance with its ESG commitments, the release said.
