Prudential Plc (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 1,597,628 shares in London at an average price of about 6.17 pounds sterling per share on Thursday, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Following repurchase and subsequent cancellation, the insurer will have 2,719,167,244 shares in issue.
