King River Resources Receives Assays from Northern Territory Prospects; Shares Down 10%
King River Resources (ASX:KRR) received assay results from drilling at the Langrenus and Providence prospects in the Northern Territory, according to a Friday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Initial drilling at Langrenus revealed geochemical anomalies and gold results linked to a broad quartz hematite structure, with up to 0.2 grams per tonne gold, 53 parts per million bismuth, 206 parts per million arsenic, 93 parts per million antimony, 178 parts per million cobalt, and 3.8 parts per million silver, the filing said.
Meanwhile, phase two reverse circulation drilling at Providence yielded anomalous gold values of up to 0.9% copper and 65.3 parts per million bismuth.
Planning is underway to explore the orientation and extent of the geochemically anomalous structure at Langrenus and the geochemically anomalous ironstone-associated structures at Providence, according to the filing.
The company's shares fell 10% in recent Friday trade.
