EHang Holdings (EH) said Monday it has received an experimental flight authorization certificate from Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency for its EH216-S pilotless electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft system.

The company and its local partner and operator Gohobby plan to conduct test and trial flights for the aircraft in Brazil, EHang added.

Shares of the company fell 2.4% in recent Monday trading.
