China's medical products administrator approved Shandong Oriental Ocean Sci-Tech's (SHE:002086) registration for its Epstein-Barr virus early antigen IgM antibody detection kit, according to a Saturday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The kit helps detect the virus in human serum samples.
Epstein-Barr virus is part of the herpes family and is spread through bodily fluids.
