Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) was ordered by a Delaware judge to deliver more shares of the company to the former head of blank check firm Digital World Acquisition that took Trump Media public, according to media reports Tuesday.
Patrick Orlando is entitled to a bigger portion of the Trump Media stock, according to Vice Chancellor Lori Will of the Delaware Court of Chancery, the reports said.
The judge ruled on a lawsuit filed by Orlando's ARC Global against Digital World over Trump Media shares allotment. Orlando was ousted from Digital World before the merger deal with Trump Media closed this year, according to a Reuters report.
Orlando is entitled to an additional 800,000 shares of Trump Media, Will decided, according to Bloomberg's report.
Trump Media did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment, while Orlando could not be reached for comment.
