Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) identified further polymetallic mineralization from the diamond drilling at the Sesmarias prospect within the Alvalade joint venture in Portugal, according to a Friday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Assay results released by the company's joint venture partner, Avrupa Minerals, included 41.2 meters at 1.6% copper, 3.4% zinc, 1.7% lead, and 54.9 parts per million silver from 377.2 to 418.4 meters downhole, the filing said.
Drilling is ongoing to explore the extent of mineralization and potentially other targets, according to the filing.
