MTR (HKG:0066) has entered into a project agreement with the Secretary for Transport and Logistics for the financing, design, construction, completion, pre-operation, operation, and maintenance of a new railway station, a Thursday bourse filing said.

The new railway station is proposed to be constructed between Tin Shui Wai Station and Siu Hong Station on the existing Tuen Ma Line.

The project will allow the transport operator to expand its railway network and the government authorities to develop an affordable and accessible public transport system.
