Alaska Air Group (ALK) experienced service disruptions and delays following an IT problem, multiple news outlets reported Monday, citing the company.

Alaska Air issued a two-hour ground stop for Seattle arrivals that is expected to have some residual impact on operations, but the issue has been resolved, the company said in a statement to Reuters.

"This was not a cyber attack or any kind of unauthorized activity," Reuters quoted the company as saying. "It was a certificate issue that impacted multiple systems."
