Adriatic Metals (ASX:ADT) produced a record of 25,514 tonnes of ore at the Rupice Mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina in August, compared with 5,595 tonnes in July, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company produced roughly 26,000 tonnes at 500 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver equivalent, averaging 1,250 tonnes per day, based on month-to-date mining in September.
Adriatic expects full-year 2024 mine production to be about 180,000 tonnes, below the lower end of its guidance in January, due to delays in the earlier quarters. However, the company expects to double the number of active stopes to two by December, leading to anticipated commercial production levels.
Meanwhile, Adriatic said production at its Vares plant now contains stoping ore, ramping up the company's concentrate output. Head grades month-to-date are 10.8% zinc, 6.9% lead, 292 g/t of silver, 3.4 g/t of gold, the filing stated.
