Bank of Communications (HKG:3328, SHA:601328) has fully redeemed certain 4.2% undated capital bonds on Sept. 20, a same-day bourse filing said.

The lender had issued 40 billion yuan of the undated bonds in September 2019.

Hong Kong- and China-listed shares the company were up nearly 2% and over 1%, respectively, in recent trade.
