Ideal Power (IPWR) said Monday it has signed a deal with Sekorm Advanced Technology (Shenzhen) Co., to distribute its products in China.

"This is a significant development in the commercialization of our B-TRAN technology," Chief Executive Dan Brdar said, referring to the company's bidirectional, bipolar junction transistor semiconductor technology.

Shares of Ideal Power were down 2.8% in recent trading.
