DL Holdings Group (HKG:1709) asked for an extraordinary general meeting to be convened on Oct. 23 to vote on the proposal to appoint BDO as the auditor of the company, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
The financial services group had recommended appointing BDO as the auditor after Grant Thornton, the current auditor decided to retire at the conclusion of the company's 2024's Annual General Meeting.
The company's shares closed over 4% higher on Friday.
