China South City (HKG:1668) promoted Wan Hongtao to chief operating officer, following which he no longer remains the company's vice president, a Sept. 27 bourse filing said.

Wan will continue to act as an executive director for the operator of logistics and trade centers.

Shares of the company were up over 14% in recent trade.
