Akoya Biosciences Appoints Scott Mendel as Chairman

Akoya Biosciences (AKYA) said late Thursday it appointed Scott Mendel as board chairman, effective the day before, succeeding Robert Shepler.

Mendel has been an Akoya board member since 2021. He previously served as chief executive of GenMark Diagnostics.

Shepler remains a member of Akoya's board, the company said.
