Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) intersected high-grade gold during its ongoing drill operations at the Second Fortune underground mine in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The deepest hole drilled to date returned 31 grams per tonne of gold from a 0.3-meter downhole intercept at 465.75 meters depth. This confirms that Second Fortune's high-grade mineralization continues at depths 400 meters below the surface, the filing stated.
The mineral explorer continues to conduct its underground drilling to support its 2025 production.
Brightstar Resources' shares were up 12% on market close.
