China's medical products administrator granted Suzhou Basecare Medical (HKG:2170) medical device approval for its reproductive health gene sequencer, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong exchange.
The DA5000 gene sequencer is indicated for use in screening for pre-pregnancy, prenatal, pre-implantation and neonatal genetic disease, according to the filing.
