Codexis (CDXS) said late Wednesday that it raised $31 million in capital and expanded its leadership team.
The funds are in addition to the $73.2 million in cash, cash equivalents, and investments on hand as of June 30. The capital was raised via an at-the-market facility during Q3.
The company appointed Alison Moore to the newly created role of chief technology officer and Georgia Erbez as chief financial officer.
Moore was formerly a CTO at Allogene Therapeutics. Before Allogene, she spent 20 years at Amgen (AMGN), most recently as senior vice president of process development.
Erbez most recently served as the chief operating officer at Walking Fish Therapeutics.
Shares of the company rose 3.6% in after-hours activity.
