Strong Petrochemical Holdings (HKG:0852) said Wang Jian Sheng ceased to be the chairman of the board, but will continue to serve as an executive director.
Deng Heng, an independent non-executive director, will succeed Wang as the board chairman, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
In addition, the petrochemical company appointed Ma Yi as the chief operating officer. Ma was previously the chief executive officer of China Gingko Education Group (HKG:1851), the filing said.
All changes are effective Oct. 2, the filing added.
