YTL (KLSE:YTL) unit YTL Cement completed the acquisition of a roughly 81.24% equity interest in NSL for SG$227.6 million in cash, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.

As a result, NSL has become an indirect subsidiary of YTL, the filing said.

Shares of the construction company slid 2% recently.
