East Buy (HKG:1797) refuted rumors that it destroyed the reputation of one of its associates to draw attention away from family disputes involving one of the online education company's online hosts, news site AAStocks reported Friday.
The company said the dispute involving host Dong Yuhui is not related to his other colleagues, the report said.
East Buy said it has not released any statement regarding Dong, and that discussions surrounding him are unrelated to the company, the report said.
The online education firm said it will seek legal remedies in response to the rumors, according to the report.
