Panther Metals (ASX:PNT) found gold nuggets at the Comet Well and Comet Well South project areas ahead of drilling within its Laverton gold project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The discoveries were made during drill preparations, and included a gold-in-quartz specimen, the filing said.
Detecting activities near drill areas discovered more gold nuggets with additional detecting is ongoing, according to the filing.
Shares of Panther Metals surged 30% in afternoon trade.
