Dongfeng Motor Group (HKG:0489) sold 167,932 vehicles in September, down 8.4% from 200,897 vehicles sold in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing on the Hong Kong bourse.

Output stood at 149,362 units, compared with 207,562 units the same month last year, the filing said.

For the first nine months of 2024, Dongfeng's sales volume declined 8.4% yearly to about 1.4 million units, and production volume rose 7% to about 1.8 million units.

Meanwhile, unit Dongfeng Automobile's (SHA:600006) sales increased 1.7% to 115,587 units between January and September.
