Jardine Matheson (SGX:J36) plans to issue 1.3 million shares under its scrip dividend scheme, according to a Wednesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

An application will be submitted on Oct. 16 to the UK Listing Authority and The London Stock Exchange for the shares to be admitted to the equity shares category of the official list and to commence trading.

The shares will be issued to shareholders who opted for shares instead of cash for the 2024 interim dividend.
