FMR Resources (ASX:FMR) started an airborne electromagnetic survey at the Fairfield project in Canada, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The nine-day survey will target the Demoiselle, Dorchester North, and Tantramar prospects to identify anomalies along the targeted horizon and define drill targets, the filing said.

Shares rose nearly 3% in afternoon trade.
