Infomina's (KLSE:INFOMINA) profit attributable to owners rose to 8 million ringgit in the fiscal first quarter from 7.3 million ringgit a year earlier.

Basic earnings per share for the three months ended Aug. 31, went up to 0.0133 ringgit from 0.0121 ringgit, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.

Revenue, however, shrank to 46.2 million ringgit from 56.2 million ringgit a year earlier, the Malaysian technology solutions provider said.

The board did not recommend a dividend for the period.

Shares gained over 1% recently.
