Century Ginwa Retail (HKG:0162) has hired Choon Hoi Kit Edwin as its chief executive officer and an executive director effective Tuesday, a same-day bourse filing said.

Choon previously served as the company's chairman assistant in 2007 and as the CEO and executive director from March 2010 to 2017.

Shares of the mall operator closed over 7% lower on Tuesday.
