Prudential's (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 900,000 shares in London on Monday at an average price of about 6.80 pounds sterling per share, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

Upon cancellation of the purchased shares, the company will have 2,696,885,306 shares in issue, the filing said.
