0919 GMT - Lenovo is well positioned to benefit from the inflection point in AI PC adoption expected next year, DBS analyst Jim Au says in a research note. Intel's x86 AI chips, likely to launch in November, could unlock AI PC purchases, particularly in the commercial segment, Au says. DBS thinks Lenovo has a strong pipeline to expand its AI PC offerings through 2024 and 2025, and its AI PC shipments could surge 126% and 154% in fiscal 2025 and 2026, respectively, representing 20% and 47% of its total PC shipments. DBS maintains a buy call on Lenovo and raises the target price to HK$13.60 from HK$12.40. Shares last closed at HK$11.00. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
