China Eastern Airlines (SHA:600115, HKG:0670) carried 11.4 million passengers in September, up 16% from 9.85 million in the year-ago period.

Passenger capacity grew 10.3% to 24.3 billion available seat kilometers from 22 billion available seat kilometers a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

Cargo capacity increased 3.7% to 737.5 million available freight ton-kilometers from 711.3 million available freight ton-kilometers, the filing said.
