Centaurus Metals (ASX:CTM) hit copper and gold mineralization from a maiden drill program at the Boi Novo project in Brazil, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling at the project identified a 13.4-meter sulfide zone and intersected up to 5 meters at 0.4% copper and 0.11 parts per million gold, the filing said.

Shares of Centaurus Metals fell 8% at market close.
