Power Root (KLSE:PWROOT) bought back 21,800 shares on Thursday for 30,975 ringgit, according to a same-day bourse disclosure.

The shares were repurchased at between 1.410 ringgit and 1.430 ringgit apiece, the beverage company said.

Shares gained over 1% on Thursday's close.
