Valvoline's chief financial officer, Mary Meixelsperger, plans to retire from the provider of auto-maintenance services.
Valvoline on Friday said Meixelsperger, who joined the Lexington, Ky., as finance chief in 2016 just prior to its initial public offering and spinoff from Ashland Global, will remain in her post until a successor is hired.
The company said it has hired an executive search firm to assist the succession process, adding that it will consider internal and external candidates.
