Bank of Chongqing's (HKG:1963, SHA:601963) vice president Liu Jianhua resigned from his post, effective Wednesday, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong exchange said.

Liu resigned due to a change in his work arrangements but will continue to work for the bank in another capacity, the filing said.

The bank's shares closed over 4% lower on Thursday.
