Yancoal Australia (HKG:3668) reported higher equity share coal sales and production in the third quarter.
Attributable Q3 coal sales rose year over year to 10.4 million tons from 8.6 million tons, while coal production climbed to 10.2 million tons from 9.3 million tons, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Average realized price declined to AU$170 per ton from AU$197 per ton a year ago.
Yancoal Australia is a subsidiary of Yankuang Energy Group (SHA:600188, HKG:1171). Its shares rose 5% in recent trade on the Hong Kong bourse.
