China Beststudy Education Group's (HKG:3978) trustee repurchased 123,000 company shares on Wednesday for HK$383,500 at an average price of HK$3.12 per share, according to a same-day filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The shares were bought under the company's 2018 restricted share plan and will be issued and allotted to eligible employees.
The trustee has so far repurchased 108,317,178 shares for the scheme, including 11,618,554 vested shares pending transfer to the relevant grantees.
The after-school education services provider's shares fell nearly 3% in recent trade.
