Huaneng Power International (HKG:0902, SHA:600011) sold 130.562 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in the third quarter, up 3.43% year over year, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
For the nine months ended Sept. 30, total electricity sold rose by 1.14% to 341.2 billion kilowatt hours.
Shares slid 4% in Hong Kong and 3% in Shanghai during Wednesday's afternoon trading.
The electric power company's shares were up over 1% on Friday's close.
